The property has an outdoor dining area. Hagenbach is a really beautiful town nearby to Karlsruhe. The house is in the very old part with narrow streets very traditional. My room and the bathroom were very well laid out and practical for someone who is travelling for work. Everything was very clean and the kitchen had everything you needed Most people who come for the trade shows would normally stay in the centre of Karlsruhe. If you stay in Hagenbach you do need to drive but it's only 15-20 minutes away. I would say that it's a very good option if you're driving.

The property features river views and is 46 km from Maria Laach Abbey and 48 km from Nuerburgring. Our host was incredibly accommodating and obviously takes great pride in caring for her guests. She met us at check-in, walked us through everything, and coordinated breakfast. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us after visiting Burg Eltz that afternoon, before making our way down the river back home. Parking is on site. There are walking paths behind the house. She gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The downstairs is accessible for an open tab on wine and beverages after hours as well as access to the terrace with a view of the river. She served us, sat and chatted with guests during breakfast, and was just lovely in general. She also made our children hot chocolate in the morning, which she joked was the best in Germany- but my kids actually said it was the best they'd had! The facilities were very clean and Gabi, the host, was incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to make my stay there pleasant.
