Starlight Mountain Lodge is a recently renovated guest house in Sigchos, where guests can make the most of its water sports facilities and fitness centre. This is a cute little lodge at the edge of town, with fantastic views of the adjacent valley and nearby mountains—you could even see the Quilotoa crater from here on a clear day! We had a cosy and clean private room, and the bed was super comfortable. The included dinner was lovely, as was the breakfast with an incredibly large platter of fruits. We also enjoyed hanging out in the common area too, which has a toasty fireplace, a pool table, as well as table football. All in all, we were well taken care of by Victor and Mayra, and we highly recommend staying here for the night before starting on the Quilotoa Loop trek!

A kids' club is also available at Hostal Doña Clarita Inn, while guests can also relax in the garden. Great value. We had a two-level, two-bed room with dinner and breakfast for about $38. It was very clean and spacious. Nice common area with a stove to dry clothes and tea and banana bread and cookies. Good food. They were really helpful when we realized one of the dogs hanging around was actually owned by the owner of the hostel we stayed at in Sigchos. They took care of him until his owner showed up.

Cabañas Quilotoa is situated in Quilotoa and offers a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. The property has garden and quiet street views. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. I had an excellent experience. The location is perfect central yet peaceful, and the ambiance is cozy and welcoming. My room was spacious, comfortable, and featured a fireplace that I enjoyed using daily.  The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Ronald, who assisted me with walking routes, transportation, and even arranged a guide for me. The breakfast was generous and delicious, and the overall atmosphere made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. This place is very nice, the staff was friendly and helpful. They kindly explained the activities around, we did the tour to Cotopaxi volcano and it was incredible with professional guide. I recommend this hostel, the rooms are cozy and clean, they offer laundry and restaurant service for dinner and breakfast in a beautiful commun area. Plus it is located close from the historical center and downtown.

We had to stay just for a night but everything was perfect : - delicious and large meals (dinner and breakfast) - very comfy beds - warm bedroom with a fire - lovely hosts - near the Laguna so you can start the loop right away I recommend it !
