We stayed for four nights in a wonderful place with an incredibly friendly host and a warm, welcoming team. The atmosphere was calm and serene, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Our room was very clean and spacious. We especially enjoyed the lovely patio, which was perfect for relaxing. There were also plenty of options for activities, making it easy to explore the area at our own pace. We loved being on this side of the river, away from the more touristy areas. Everything was perfect.

The food for breakfast and dinner were amazing and all the produce was organically sourced. We will definitely miss our breakfasts with a view and our hosts the most! We arrived ahead of the check in time and though the owner welcomed us with a very good breakfast. The staff is super friendly and helpful as if we are hosted at their home. Mohamed -the owner, gave us a great deal on a balloon ride that we’ll remember for the rest of our lives! Mohamed (the house staff) prepared delicious breakfast every morning and sang with us Adele’s songs:))) and danced with us! We felt at home and welcomed each day. The house is located in a quiet dead end street and you can only hear the birds singing in the morning… the patio provided a great sunny spot for coffee and meals. The owner even allowed us to check out super late in the evening time- which was much appreciated. we can’t wait to go back and hopefully the pool they were building would be ready in a couple of months:) more importantly- the Wi-Fi was one of the best speeds we encountered in all Egypt!

We were well fed and taken care of. Will recommend this place to all our friends and family visiting in the future and will definitely book with them again when we come back.

The Nile compound is a paradisiacal hotel far away from the tourist hustle of the city center and I recommend it to everyone for a stay in Luxor - you won't find anything better. It's like a little oasis of peace where you feel at home and yet you can reach the center very quickly by cab or tuktuk. We received a very warm welcome here and immediately decided to stay an extra night, because you don't often find such a beautiful place. Our bungalow was right on the Nile and we had a wonderful view. We were also able to order first-class local food and drinks or shisha at very fair prices. All the staff were extremely pleasant and friendly and always on hand to help when we needed advice (for example, we had a problem with an outside cab driver who charged more than we had agreed and they were on hand immediately to sort the situation out for us). The owner Mahmoud made sure we were provided with everything around the clock and we have rarely felt so comfortable - we will definitely be back to stay longer!
