The bed is divine! The grounds are a lovely wild garden with a small pool hidden away. It’s complete peace. Now let’s talk breakfast! Lydie takes great pride in her carefully prepared breakfasts and it shows. You have a choice of sweet or savory breakfasts, whichever your preference, that she delivers it to your room. Her originality even extends to the presentation: jam served in egg cups and sugar cubes in a small Bonne Maman jar. ❤️ It is beyond sweet. Frankly, this is one of the most original and charming places I’ve ever stayed in. Lydie is amazing also. I can’t say enough about her understanding and flexibility. I messed up our reserved days and she completely went with the flow. Mind you, Lydie only speaks French, so if your French isn’t conversational, you will probably need a translator app.

We went to some nearby vineyards for tastings. The rooms are lovely with everything you need. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the property one evening and it was delicious. They served us a beautiful salad, dumpling ragout & an incredible cheese board. Spending time with their beautiful dogs topped off the stay for us! NB. Not all vineyards open when they say. Chateau de Pizay is worth a visit, it does a self guided wine tasting for €10 - it is a beautiful property & you get to keep the wine glass

Catherine, the owner, is precise and extremely helpful. in my case (unexpected stay, extended several times due to a blocking car failure) her availability, concern and courtesy were beyond any expectations.

The owners are very enthusiastic and kind who saved us when we couldn't find a taxi to Bully and back to train station. The Lodges locates on a hill surrounded by grape fields, we had a calm and cozy rest and had fully enjoyed the wonderful scenery in Bully. The room and the bed are very comfortable. Also need to mention the breakfast, we have tasted some fresh products from local farmers. Again, everything is perfect!
