At the homestay, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. One of the best accommodations I’ve ever had. Mr. Kaesa was extremely helpful — he was waiting for us upon arrival and provided us with the most detailed information about Berastagi and the trek to Gunung Sibayak. The rooms were clean and spacious, and breakfast was available. As a bonus, the price was extremely low — almost ridiculously cheap considering everything that was included. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Berastagi.

The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. This guesthouse is truly a gem, Brian makes sure you have an amazing stay! You can tell he really cares about his guests. The room and bathroom are very clean and comfortable. The food is incredible too (plenty of vegan and vegetarian options)! I did a 2 night jungle trek with them as well and everything was very well organised, great food and fruit on the trek, comfortable campsites by the river and close to a waterfall. You could tell that the guide really enjoyed being in nature, he had so much knowledge about the animals and plants and made us feel really safe. I got a bee sting and he had magic oil that made the sting disappear in just 30 min! I had a really great stay and trek with Brian and his team and definitely recommend them and would definitely come back one day! :)

Located in Bukit Lawang in the Sumatra region, Jhony's Backpacker-Guest House only stay here book treking with us features a balcony. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. We booked with Jhony for our jungle trekking to see orangutans. It was the best decision ever! We saw orangutans and gibbon and long tail monkeys. The entire experience was great, the best food, great itinerary, where we stayed was very comfortable, and to end all the rafting was super super fun. Everything beat our expectations and it was all for a very fair price. Jhony was a great tour guide and so was his younger tour guide in training Lana who will be a guide next year. Lana was fantastic and super great with us and of course Jhony was too. Thank you so much to you both and we will definitely recommend you. If you’re coming to Bukit Lawang definitely book your tour with Jhony!

I really enjoyed my stay here. It is a comfy and very convenient guesthouse. The staff is really kind and helpfull. They also organize great trekking tours to the jungle. And the location of the guest house is great. Right next to the river. From the terasse you can look down on the river and enjoy the village life.

It's located on the outskirts of Medan. There's a nice garden, so you don't have a feeling you're in a big city, and also tasty food in their restaurant. The owner is easy to communicate with. The room is comfortable and clean, with good airconditioning. Wifi works well. We left early in the morning, so we couldn't get the proper breakfast, but we still got a delicious fruit salad to-go.
