Easy walking distance to the main street with pubs and restaurants. Great spot to drive the Slea Head circle route.

The location Is very good, less than 15 minutes from Dingle centre. The breakfast was included and we loved it, The staff is lovely and welcoming. There is also a pub where you can have lunch/dinner and some live music as entertaining. The room was very clean, there is also a small room for tea/coffee, we found it very relaxing. The family run An Portan Guesthouse is situated in Dún Chaoin on the edge of the Dingle Peninsula.

The rooms at An Portan are all at ground floor level and are arranged in a courtyard style. Each room has its own entrance door, en-suite bathroom,TV and tea and coffee making facilities. We had a wonderful stay at An Portán Guest House. We were met by Geraldine, who was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We had a delicious Irish breakfast (along with tea, cereal, bread and fruit). We had a lovely view at breakfast and in our room. It was a great location for us doing the Dingle Way (8 minutes away from the path). The Kruger's bar was just a few minutes away (so we could get dinner there). The room was very comfortable and quiet we had the best night sleep here. It was one of our favourite stays in Ireland.

We did walks along the Dingle Cliffs and the Lighthouse trail. Was beautiful and very quiet, not many other walkers except the locals. We loved it so much and stayed an extra night, (we were lucky there was a vacancy)
