The Rooms At Firecastle is set in Kildare's market square, overlooking St Brigid's Cathedral. The property offers an onsite bakery, an artisan grocery store and a take away breakfast and lunch served daily. The view of the cathedral was just stunning. The rooms were gorgeous and very comfortable and much more spacious that elsewhere I stayed in Europe and the UK. I wish I'd had longer. I really didn't want to leave.

Easy parking, comfy room and we also dined at their restaurant which was fabulous

Guests can access the guest house via private entrance. Setting is lovely and very private. Amenities such as Haydn's Bar were super. Loved it.

The room and bathroom were beautifully decorated. The shared lounge is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. We didn't interact with staff in person but Rachel sent helpful instructions about the property and everything was clear. It is not easy to spot the entrance from the road, so use the Eircode provided.

So friendly even offers to drop you in town. Gives loads of tips and advice also makes a great cup of tea. The bed was so comfortable the bathroom huge.
