We stayed here for three nights during our 10-day trip to Iceland. Disa she is a very warm and beautiful host. The house has been renovated for 5 years and is still in progress. From the furnishings in the house, we can see her design intentions! We are very lucky to meet her boyfriend, who is a professional composer and plays traditional and modern folk songs on the piano. He also performs at the Icelandic Harpa Concert Hall.Thank to Disa we stayed very comfortably for three nights in Iceland. The bus station is right next to it, there are parks nearby, delicious bakeries and ice cream, everything here is so wonderful 😊

We stayed in the Clubhouse. Stunning views, lovely kitchen to cook a delicious dinner. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The springs were magical and the restaurant (seafood soup!!) was delicious. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we had the northern lights on New Year’s Eve. Close to Reykjavik but still feels isolated, has beautiful views of the ocean, and large, clean, and comfortable room. Could’ve stayed there for far longer. Highly recommend.

Eric the Red is a perfectly located Guest House in Reykjavik just 60m/200ft from Hallgrímskirkja Church which is the biggest church and single most central point in Reykjavik, we are in short walking distance from all the best Reykjavik has to offer, whether it’s Museums, Restaurants, Cafés, Bars, Shopping Streets, Parks, the BSi bus station, Geothermal Swimming pools or Lake Tjörnin, and yet positioned in a quiet area of the center. The hotel is located right next to the church in Reykjavik, just about a three-minute walk away, which was a pleasant surprise. The suite was spacious enough to accommodate the three of us. Overall, it was a great stay!

Only a 5 in stroll from Hallgrimskirkja church. Good selection for breakfast, which set us up nicely each day. Location overall was great, no more than 15 min walk to the concert hall with lots of great bars/cafes and restaurants were all within a short stroll. Highly recommend

The guest house has family rooms. Everything was fine, but you have to understand that it is a common place and you will always share it with other people. It is ok if no more than 2 rooms are booked, but if all the rooms are occupied, it will be quite difficult to cook in a small kitchen and use the facilities.
