We loved everything at Petra Olive House! The host, Saddam, is a great man with a lovely family. His little boy was waiting for us when we arrived and showed us inside. His wife cooked the most delicious breakfasts, and he even gave us some zaatar to take home with us when we told him we liked a condiment that we had never seen before. The place is positioned in a very quiet neighborhood and has a lovely garden downstairs. It's about 7 minutes away by car from both downtown Wadi Musa and Petra, which for us was perfect.

The units are equipped with air conditioning, a fridge, a minibar, a kettle, a bidet, slippers and a wardrobe. Some units include a terrace and/or a balcony with mountain views. At the homestay, all units have bed linen and towels. Petra is basically down the street (1.6km) multiple restaurants nearby. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has a rooftop with views over the city. Mahmoud and his family are lovely - they can help you with pretty much anything and his sister is a great cook too!

I stayed with Mohammed and his family for 2 nights and had an unforgettable experience in Petra. They were very welcoming to me, his mom cooked the best homemade food and we also rode horses in Petra. All in all a wonderful time together! I would love to stay with them again in the future and can only recommend their place with full support!!!

The family running the place is very friendly, both the father and son speak good English. The day we visited Petra early in the morning, they pre-prepared our breakfast for us. We also had dinner there one night, which was delicious, and we're invited many times for tea and snacks. Comfortable room, good value for money. Very close to Petra entrance, 2 minutes by car.

For an extra charge he will serve you a lovely home-cooked dinner made by his mother. Breakfast is very decent, bedroom and .bathroom are clean and comfortable

The property is around 39 km from Petra Church, 39 km from High Place of Sacrifice and 39 km from The Great Temple. The guest house offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Very clean, quiet and comfortable house. Spacious room. The host was available and very kind. They have prepared on request for us breakfast and dinner home made. Very close to Wadi Ghuweyr hike starting point, 10 minutes by car.

The guest house offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Faisal and his family were so incredibly kind to us. This was one of the most heartwarming accommodations I have ever stayed in. The room itself had 3 very big beds, which were perfect after a long day of strolling through Petra. The dinner we got was amazing, and we were also told about the Bedouin culture and customs. We visited the accommodation after being drained by (rare) floods in Petra, and immediately after arrival, without any second thought, we were offered spare clothes while our dirty clothes got washed. This is all without even mentioning that the price is extremely cheap and just the experience of getting to share an evening with Faisal and his family is more than worth it. This is definitely an accomodation I would recommend to everyone.

The best host I have met in a long time. The location is great if you have a rental car. Only a short drive from Petra. The house is in a small cozy village. Great place.
