They were very welcoming to me, his mom cooked the best homemade food and we also rode horses in Petra. All in all a wonderful time together! The owner of the guesthouse, Shadi, was an amazing host who provided us with tons of information about the surrounding areas. When we arrived we were kindly greeted by Mark, the Slovenian co-host, who told us interesting facts and stories about the region we were in. Later on a campfire was lit and we had an amazing night with ample refreshments. The next day, after we visited Petra, Shadi had a surprise for us and told us to meet him in the middle of the Wadi Araba desert were we had a traditional Bedouin dinner. We also did a thrilling buggy-ride through the desert just prior to arriving at the camping spot and had a lot of fun. Our days spent at Jordan Guesthouse were surely the highlight of our 10-day trip through Jordan and we can't wait to come back. The day we checked-out Shadi even managed to call the local mechanic in town to fix our slightly damaged rental car at a reasonable price. All-in-all we loved everything about our stay and wish Shadi and Mark all the best.

The family running the place is very friendly, both the father and son speak good English. The day we visited Petra early in the morning, they pre-prepared our breakfast for us. We also had dinner there one night, which was delicious, and we're invited many times for tea and snacks. Comfortable room, good value for money. Very close to Petra entrance, 2 minutes by car.

They have prepared on request for us breakfast and dinner home made. Very close to Wadi Ghuweyr hike starting point, 10 minutes by car.
