It felt to nice to be well cared for, especially when traveling alone. Gihan can help arrange tours and activities and will take you himself in his Tuk Tuk when available. They have bikes for hire and I enjoyed riding all around Anuradhapura a couple of times. Their food is amazing! In the past they owned a restaurant and it shows. A huge variety and the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka. I am gluten intolerant and they were very accommodating to my diet. You can tell they care a lot about their business, investing in it and caring for their clients. Extend your stay, you won’t regret it. There’s much to see In Anuradhapura and you’ll not want to leave Corner Cottage.

Les chambres sont propres et bien équipées (moustiquaires en bon état, indispensable dans le coin).

The hosts are so kind to us and welcoming, home-cooked food were affordable and delicious, breakfast (included in price) was amazing and you get to enjoy it over the tree tops overlooking the lake. Room was clean and spotless, thank you Lake Wind! 😊

Tout s’est très bien passé, l’hôte nous a aidé pour la location de scooter, mais aussi pour les trajets et à confirmer, les recherches que j’avais faites en amont sur les choses à visiter. Il nous a même amené voir un match international de cricket (le sport national au Sri Lanka) avec sa femme et son fils. C’était un très bon moment. Je recommande fortement ! Ils sont d’une extrême gentillesse et arrangent ! Les petits déjeuners sont cuisinés est vraiment variés, très bon.

We felt very welcomed, super friendly staff, didnt try to sell us anything, good breakfast, free good condition bikes, helped with arranging tuktuk. Tranquil vibe.

Jeewa, Masha, and Oleena made our stay wonderful. Their homestay is lovely, jungle vibes. The room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious, and Masha's dinner is very tasty. Jeewaa was always giving us advice and helping us to decide what to do around. We went on a safari with a guide that he recommended, and apart from being cheaper than other places, the guide was also very knowledgeable and professional. We wanted to do some Ayurvedic spa treatments, and we found other places quite expensive, but Jeewaa recommended us a local Ayurvedic centre, and the place was half the price then other places and it was SO GOOD! Our kids had the best time, Oleena (the couples' daughter) was always so friendly and playing with our kids. Our kids ended up joining the neighbourhood kids' gang. We had the most wonderful stay if one day we come back to Sri Lanka, we would definitely go back to Oleena's homestay. Jeewaa, Masha and Oleena, thank you so much.
