You will find a 24-hour front desk at the property. We are really well at Suriya Guest :) we had the breakfast and dinner twice which was delicious. The host was super welcoming and kind. The rooms were spacious and had heating, which was important because we were there when it was only 17 degrees Celcius.

The next morning after serving us a delicious homemade breakfast, he kindly drove us to the train station himself. What makes this place truly special is how the whole family makes you feel at home. Extreamly clean, comfortable and quiet place. A very spacious room. Owner and family couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful and went out of their way on a number of occasions to assist us and other guests during our stay. The owners son also spoke with us at length about the history of the house, the town and Sri Lanka, he was very knowledgeable. Well located with restaurants close by and a lovely walk to Lovers Leap waterfall. Great value for money and a good breakfast to start the day. Definitely highly recommended

Castlereigh Reservoir Seaplane Base Airport is 46 km away. Shan and his Mam gave such a warm welcome upon arriving into Nuwara Eliya after a long train journey. They are kind, welcoming and extremely attentive to every detail and it truly feels like a home away from home. Shan was always on hand for any needs or requests. The tour he arranged of the nearby tea plantation, waterfalls and secret view point was a highlight and reasonably priced. My room was tastefully decorated and extra cosy with the comfortable bed and thick blankets. The traditional Sri Lankan breakfast prepared by Daphne was amazing, I will miss those honey rottis for breakfast! I highly recommend Rustique House to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay in Nuwara Eliya. Shan, thank you for a great stay and opening up your family home to guests.
