The room was super clean, with large and very comfortable beds. The bathroom was excellent, with its own shower tray and glass screen – not the typical Sri Lankan style where the whole floor gets wet. This made it much more comfortable for us as Europeans. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. The only small point is that to reach the city center you need to take a tuk-tuk, but that was not a problem for us.

Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged, making my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I absolutely loved my time here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a welcoming, home-like atmosphere with exceptional service and fantastic food. I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, modern family home in Kandy... both the house and my room were spotless, with all the essentials provided, including a tube of toothpaste in the bathroom. From the moment I arrived, the host and his wife were incredibly kind and caring.. the breakfast she prepared was abundant and homey, just like a meal a mother would make for her children... It was a truly warm and welcoming experience, perfect for anyone looking for comfort and hospitality in Kandy.

Beautiful property that felt like our own little oasis. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The shower was excellent too. Breakfast was served at your requested time and the owner offered to cook us a Sri Lankan breakfast that was really good. The location does require a tuk tuk in and out of Kandy central but you can down load the pick me app to get local rates to keep costs down. Excellent stay and highly recommended.

The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. The whole family were hospitable and ready to help us in anyway. The father would take us & pick us up in his tuk tuk. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra day. There was a small kitchenette, tea, coffee and a fridge.

Boasting free bikes and views of garden, SERENE HOME is a recently renovated homestay situated in Kandy, 3.2 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. This homestay features free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. The homestay has family rooms. This place of Sri and his family is a truly hidden gem. So much love and calm you will find there within a truly authentic local experience. Highly recommend to stay there. We just stayed on night unfortunately but everything was truly amazing. Lovely host, communication, incredible breakfast and the room/house is in such a good calm nature area, still close to the city if you want to experience kandy.
