For one person it’s more than enough. The staff is very friendly, the owner helps every time for each guests with transportation, excursions and transport to the dinner on dark time - because it’s dangerous to be on a road after 11 pm due to elephant attack. I really like this place - the location is very close to lion rock, you can get it by step. the room has soap, shampoo, mini bar for extra money - tea, coffee and sugar. the light in room is good, conditioner working, mosquitoes blanket is present. The hotel’s garden is very beautiful. I spent nice time in the Rate Sigiri Rock Side Home Stay!!!

The family were the loveliest hosts—we were welcomed with warmth, treated to delicious homecooked meals, and even given fresh juices from their garden. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hospitality was outstanding. The kids were lovely, showed us their drums and gifted us drawings. We even took the boy for our elephant safari which was amazing. Everything is handled by the Host - tuktuks, transfers, safari, etc. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner - tastiest sri lankan food in big quantities (you might want to skip lunch :D) This homestay was the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. Highly recommended!

The location is beautiful, with excellent views of Pidurangala rock. Our host and his family were very friendly and helpful. The traditional home cooked food made for us was excellent with very generous portions provided for breakfast and dinner. Our host offered to drop us off at both Lions Rock and Pidurangala Rock in his TukTuk both mornings of our stay. The treehouse was really clean and relaxing, with a big comfortable bed, mosquito net and a very powerful fan that allowed us to get good sleep despite the heat. The bathroom is very unique and probably our favourite part of the accomm - a walled outdoor toilet and shower with nice plants around that made it feel like a garden. Thanks to Duwinda and his family for a memorable experience.

Location is amazing in the Jungle Family owned Heartly welcomed by the Family Owner took care, organised Safari and made a private Tuk Tuk Tour with us for a reasonable price. Also his wife cooked traditional dinner for us (Not included in price, but thats completely ok) During night and day we saw and heard a lot of different animals. I would recommend the Tree House any time, especially for backpacker if you want to see the sri lankan Daily life.

The breakfast was amazing, there were two couches to chill on and sun beds and the pool was nice and everything was just so accommodating and lovely. We mostly stayed in cheaper places in Sri Lanka but decided to try this one because it looked amazing and it was absolutely worth the money! I really enjoyed staying there.
