Located around 49 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden, the homestay is also 4.1 km away from Ella Rock. Everything! We totally recommend this place, the staff/manager was so friendly and we were even offered some snacks and coffee/tea upon arrival. The room was big and clean, there were a lot of facilities (e.g. minifridge etc.) and the balcony was as well very pretty. The street in frond has a lot of traffic but after 9pm it gets really quiet. There is no AC but a good fan and because of the cooler temperatures in Ella AC is not necessary. The location itself was just PERFECT, it‘s a 10min walk to the Nine Arches Bridge through stunning jungle and just 5-10min by foot to the centre of Ella!

The homestay features family rooms. Staying at this accommodation was the best decision we have made!!! We were welcomed by the most beautiful family, after a long journey. We were able to park our tuk tuk under CCTV which made us feel reassured. We booked all 3 rooms, and they were all incredible. The accommodation was extremely clean, and the rooms are all attached to a balcony with a view of the mountains and lots of birds. The rooms have hot water and REAL beds with REAL pillows and a duvet. No AC needed, the area is nice and cool. We took a tour of the family's rice fields and vetegable garden. The highlight of this accommodation is the food that the family prepares for you. We have been in Sri Lanka for almost a year, and this was by far the best food we have had! The breakfast is included and is huge and varied. They provide many different options including fruits, hoppers, juices, teas, coffees, dahl, sambol, pancakes, rotis, avocado and so much more! We decided to order dinner through the accommodation as well. Each dinner has about 10 different dishes and you are able to make requests if needed. We had all sorts of incredible food like jackfruit curry, fish curry, chicken curry, noodles, rice, eggs, papadom, and everything else you could think of! (And beers) All in all, our stay here was absolutely incredible and it was the highlight of our trip. We can highly recommend!!

The guest house provides mountain views, a picnic area and a 24-hour front desk. Everything was perfect about our stay! The rooms very huge, clean, bright, they had everything you needed (AC, fan, net, mini fridge) the bathroom was also very nice and clean and the view was amazing!! We also loved the location, its around 30 min on scooter (the owner helped us with renting a scooter) to Ella, which we did not mind as we hate loud and touristic places like Ella. This place was thus perfect for us to relax and unwind and hide from all the tourism and commercialization. The breakfast were perfect, so so delicious and fresh!! And the owner and the boys were all very kind, helpful and nice. They even made us dinner one day and booked a tuktuk for us on last day as we needed to catch early train to Kandy. Overall it was perfect stay and I would recommend it to everyone!
