We stayed only 1 night but would have loved to stay longer. The property is placed in quiet and picturesque surroundings, yet only a short walk from Ella Main Street. The hosts were sweet and provided us with a lovely breakfast on the terrace.

The owners Saman and Sandive were very welcoming. They made sure that everything in the room was ready before our arrival. Both are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was just amazing, spotless clean, you can definitely sense the attention to every detail. The location is great, quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees all around. The view is spectacular, you can see the waterfall and hear the sound of running water from distance when lying in your bed, just a wonderful scene to wake up to. Saman prepared a delicious breakfast and delivered it to the room by herself just to make sure that we do not need anything else. This was by far one of the best places we have been to in Ella. We would definitely book that place again on every trip back to Ella. We highly recommend this place.

Truly worth every penny, yes the walk to the property may not be as enjoyable to everyone if you are carrying a lot of luggage but don’t think twice if you can walk 100 to 150 mts. Absolutely loved the view and the cute old couple who are the host are very sweet

We found it after going down a few steps. The food was the best we had in Sri Lanka. A very peaceful environment. The best people. Everyone welcomed us with a smile. We will come back again.

The house is located tucked away in the hills. It is very quiet and very peaceful. There is only one room (where we stayed) in the house so you get a real nice home stay experience. The breakfast was the best we have had in Sri Lanka so far, very tasty and a very big portion that we enjoyed in the balcony every morning. Everything is run by the family and they are very nice and helpful. We got tips of where to go and the hosts also connected us with a tuktuk driver that took us around to the places further away that we wanted to visit. They can also help sort out scooters if preferred. We also got tips where to do laundry which was a very solid recommendation.

Worried about AC… don’t be. This place is high in the mountains. With a fan you may even be cold.

L'Eagle View est hotel super agréable. La chambre était spacieuse, propre, lumineuse, bien équipée, super agréable et la vue (de la chambre mais aussi de la terrasse) : magnifique ! Le personnel super sympa et flexible et le petit déjeuner vaut franchement le coup ! L'Eagle view est un peu excentré (une vingtaint de minutes du centre), mais on trouve facilement un tuktuk ou une voiture à des prix corrects pour les trajets !
