During our 5 week trip, we stayed at 13 different hotels, from affordable hostels to luxurious 5-star resorts and everything in between! Rushkokaa Beach Villa gave us the best customer service of all our stays. What made our stay so memorable, apart from the obvious beauty of the island and it's people, was the warm hospitality, the amazing food we were served by chef Anu, and the great customer service from the most service-minded worker Sufiyan- They felt like family at the end of our 4 night stay and we were sad to leave! It would not be the same without them. They taught us about the culture and they left a lasting impression on us- we made memories and also friends. The hotel is RIGHT ON bikini beach! Food: Where do I even start? For breakfast, they offer us two options: Local and continental. We opted for the local breakfast, which my friend liked so much she kept chasing the same experience on all other hotels, however no other chefs could even compare to the way Anu cooked it! My favorite part was that there were a new dinner menu every day. We got two options, and me and my friend would order one option each; that way we got to taste 8 different dishes- all so good!! You tell the chef the day ahead if you'd like dinner and at what time, so he can shop for groceries. It made it such a personalized experience. I told him my favorite food, and there were at least 3 dinner options with that ingredient. On our last night, they prepared a beautiful dinner on the beach under the stars. Unforgettable! In comparison the other hotels in Fulidhoo had MEEH americanized food. If I could re-do my trip to the Maldives, I would cancel my stay in Gulhi altogether, and stay at Rushkokaa longer. I can not emphasize enough how the two staff Anu and Sufiyan and the food made the stay as great as it was. You can not go wrong with booking your stay at Rushkokaa Beach Villa.

Staff was very attentive and smile all the time. Breakfast was excellent although they rotate the menu every other day. Beach was awesome and we enjoy our snorkeling trip with Luau Beach Inn as well. Hope to come back again!

Staff were very friendly and helped me with anything I needed whether that was a massage booking,scuba diving information,snorkeling and to even room service/cleaning. Also the fact that there was everything in scope within 1-3mins walk whether you’re looking for a mini supermarket , mosque , local restaurants I learnt scuba diving from discover scuba all the way to advanced l.I even extended my stay due to how nice & attentive the diving instructors were Overall one of the best trips I’ve done.Learnt a new skill, got to enjoy the beautiful beaches and lovely local cuisine. Featuring full-day security, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. This small boutique hotel is very new, and the rooms are furnished in a way that you cannot find in any of the local islands. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. If you are looking for a small local island experience and see another point of view of the Maldives it is really great. We combined this with a couple days of resort experience and it was perfect for us. The rooms are large and and very comfy. There is a small pool right outside of your room.

Madi Grand Maldives is a recently renovated guest house in Fulidhoo, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. This guest house offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the year-round outdoor pool, or enjoy views of the garden and inner courtyard. Clean comfortable accommodations with the only pool on the island! Staff were amazing and really made the stay even better.

Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and free shuttle service, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation provides full-day security and a business centre for guests. This is a lovely local place to stay on Gan. The owners are so kind and welcoming, like being a part of their own home and family. They cooked amazing fresh fish for us on a few nights, held a bbq with some of the locals and the breakfast was a great selection of tropical fruit and eggs. The room was spotless clean and modern. They even had a great set up with an outdoor sink and hose to clean our diving equipment. Really recommend staying here! A wonderful experience.

Owner Abdull is very helpful and take care for us. He arranged for us cheap return flights from Male-Koddoo then speedboat to this beautiful island Kondey. Food is very fresh and delucious. Organized trips are for good price and offers lots of variations - for example - snorkeling trips, diving, night/day fishing, sunset piknik, desert island trip.. and more. Suncoral guest house is very clean and roomservice is everyday. AC works quietly and perfectly. Bed is very comfortable. I enjoyed stay and will return again :) I traveled lots of places in Maldives and i can say that in this island is still beautiful nature, not destroyed by mass tourism. I recommend it for people who like beautiful nature full of life.

Sudha is super nice and maintain the garden beautifully, and the owner is a very lovely lady! We had to stay longer on Gan due to the weather, but not a problem at all... we had an amazing time!

From the moment I arrived, he arranged and adapted everything for a smooth arrival, a splendid stay, and an easy departure. He has crafted a sanctuary at Stay Mikado, ensuring that everyone has the best possible experience. We went surfing 🏄‍♂️, snorkeling 🤿, and even visited his private island for an even more exquisite adventure that you wouldn't normally access so easily (see attached photos). With every activity, he made sure to stay in harmony with nature. He knows which animals to touch, which ones to observe, and which ones to leave alone. Whether above or below water, Ameen ensures your safety—no need to worry if you're afraid of sharks! 😉🦈 He knows the islands like the back of his hand, and his expertise is evident in every interaction. Ameen’s team, who prepared delicious food at the restaurant 🍽️, drove us to snorkeling spots 🚤, and assisted with luggage, provided service that was beyond excellent. The hotel itself is incredibly luxurious, especially for the price. There is also a restaurant on-site, and if you fancy karaoke, you can enjoy that too 🎤. If I could give 20 stars, I would ⭐️. And I have stayed in many places, but this is now my absolute number one recommendation. So, if you visit the Maldives, I can only urge you to come here. Not even a resort can match the value offered at Stay Mikado. This experience will fill your heart as it did mine. Stay Mikado is home for me, and I will certainly come back.
