The family who own it were beyond lovely and helpful. They arranged a tuktuk to collect me from the next door town after a terrible bus journey, organised brilliant safaris (I saw 7 rhinos in the jeeps, some very close!) and helped to get the bus to Bandipur. He would WhatsApp when Rhinos could be spotted in the village to come and see. The hotel was clean, great location, has mosquito nets over the bed and good working fans (it is very hot in Chitwan in end of May!!).

Everything about our stay at the Tara guest house was spot on. We arrived to a beautiful home like place with friendly people, beautiful garden and clean room with ac, fly nets, plugs and clean bathroom. Greeted with lemonade, they kept us stocked with cold mineral water that I could use to refill my bottles and save plastic. Oh and a free walk to the village for sunset was slovenly. The food was delicious and better than any restaurant you can find on the strip in sauhara and much cheaper too. They offered us breakfast before our early bus and took us to the station in their jeep. All in all it was an amazing stay

Hotel Rhinoceros-Homestay is set in Sauraha. The property features mountain and lake views, and is 1.8 km from Tharu Cultural Museum. Rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast is delicious, and the athmposfere is very warm; they make you feel as a member of the family. The location is superb, and if you are lucky, you can spot some rhinos walking right in front of the hotel. The owner at the front desk is very kind and helpful. He speaks very good English and perfectly arranged all our sight-seeing activities during our stay. They rent bikes as well.

Hari is an AMAZING host, he is very kind and makes you feel so welcome in Chitwan. ☀️ I did the full day safari and we saw lots of animals up close, including 2 bears!! Hari knows the jungle so well so we had lunch at an amazing view point. As well as a the safari, I loved the yoga class, jungle walks and beautiful sunsets. 🌅 I extended my stay and was very sad to leave. So I would recommend this homestay to anyone interested in a relaxing jungle visit! Thank you Hari!

They took care of me as if I were a family member, served delicious homemad meals and made me long to return to this amazing place. Manoj is a great and passionate guide, did his best to show me all the beauty of Chitwan. It was very hard for me to leave his homestay, I will definitely come back again.
