Beautiful views, from the room and especially the breakfast area on the third floor. kind and helpful staff, sparkling clean rooms, a little light on sound insulation but other guests were quiet so this wasn't a problem (and we expected it based on the building's location, age, and charm)

Good base for Beito district if you want to avoid the pricey hotels, was using the metro alot which requires lots of walking but don't mind doing so.

A recently renovated homestay in Tamsui and within 300 metres of MRT Tamsui Station, Lai Jie Accommodation新北市ISQM認證魅力民宿 has a shared lounge, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. With city views, this accommodation provides a balcony. This 5-star homestay offers private entrance. Very new (only 3 months old!) so everything was in good shape. Free coffee and tea, and a small basket of snacks/instant noodles you’re welcome to take from. The owner is kind and even brought us breakfast an hour before we were set to leave, etc.

All units feature air conditioning and a satellite flat-screen TV. The units come with a kettle, a private bathroom and free WiFi, while some rooms come with a balcony and some have sea views. At the homestay, each unit includes bed linen and towels. Quite location, which is good as I don't like to stay too close to the crowded and noisy old street. The room (deluxe double room with balcony) is clean and spacious, the bathroom is big and it has a separate bathtub. The staff is friendly and helpful.

With mountain views, this accommodation features a patio. There is a restaurant serving Chinese cuisine, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Everything was perfect. Especially warm welcoming from the host was the most satisfying thing. Room condition was also perfect! (Tidy and clean room with nice ocean view) Handmade breakfast sandwiches were also nice. I definitely will visit this place if I come to Jiufen.
