We were invited to share lunch with the host family. We were honoured to join them. The room and neighborhood is perfectly quiet!!! The bed is so comfortable, the room is perfectly clean and the shower keeps the floor dry! We wanted to borrow a kettle but better yet we were given and entire thermos of hot water.

Tran Chau Garden Home is such a lovely place to stay, and we cant recommend it enough. The rooms are simple and nothing luxurious, but you will get world class service from this lovely family. The food is excellent, yet prices very low. They even serve you a herbal foot bath in the evening - included in this extremely fair price. They helped us book our cruise in the bay which we loved, and also transport from and to Hanoi. Everything was very professional and personal! We would definately stay here again.

Also on the day of my solo hike, the owner texted me in the evening to make sure I had gotten out of the woods safely - very thoughtful!

We stayed two nights at Homestay Cat Ba Santorini and it has been a very pleasant experience. The host, Mr. Tien helped us arrange both transport from the pier to the homestay and from the homestay to our next destination and the communication prior to our arrival has been great. The property is very clean and our room was the same. It was very spacious on two floors with more beds than we needed . The location is also very convenient and there are a lot of restaurants nearby and a few minutes from Cat Ba Town center. They also have a restaurant but we did not have the chance to try it. We had a great stay and I would definitely recommend it if you are visiting Cat Ba!
