My stay in Samblumba was spectacular! The staff is lovely and very attentive, they know the best routes for hikes, the best restaurants around and the places to go for live music at night. Also the breakfast buffet is awesome and beautifully arranged with flowers and the best background music playlist. I would've liked to stay longer and will come back for sure! Thanks dear Samblumba team!

I stayed for 5 days and was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. The treehouse is in a beautiful location and is the perfect base to explore the Paraty area from. Paraty itself is a 20 minute bus ride away, but I wouldn’t recommend staying there as you can easily explore the town in one day, so makes a nice day trip from the hostel, before retreating back to Remo’s forest paradise. Really easy to take a boat from the local beach to explore the nearby islands, go on a hike, or just to do absolutely nothing and relax at the hostel. All of the staff were really lovely and breakfast is delicious. If you don’t like being exposed to nature, this might not be the place for you. But if this is your thing, you’ll never want to leave. Vibes were impeccable and I highly recommend staying at this hostel!

The upper room is very spacious and comfortable. It is a clean and quiet place, the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming as well as sociable. We did a fantastic tour together which I will long remember. I definitely would come back and stay there!
