This experience was a surprise to me. The room was clean and tidy, and the receptionist was very warm. You can ask them if you have any questions, and they will solve them as much as possible. Maybe I will choose here next time I come to China.

Dayin offers beds or private rooms. I liked my room because there was a window to let in fresh air, the shower cubicle is separate from the toilet and, best of all, the sink is outside of the shower & toilet, making it far more hygienic to fill a kettle. The staff were superb in giving directions in English, especially since I needed to attend Shanghai Hospital every day. The hostel is located near three metro stations!!
