We booked here for an overnight stay to get from Salento to Bogota (as many people do here) and it was the perfect decision. When you arrive in Armenia bus terminal just take a Taxi which should costs 5K Pesos and brings you there in 5 minutes. If they haven’t changed it yet, the pin on google maps points to the wrong house on the other side of the street, but for the taxi drop-off that doesn‘t matter much. You are welcomed by a super friendly elderly couple, José and Estrella. Simple, cosy and quiet rooms with one shared bathroom on the same floor – everything very clean. They serve you a very decent colombian breakfast on the veranda in front of a beautiful garden, sometimes even a bird-watching spectacle included ;-) It was definitely one of the most lovely experiences with hosts in our 3-month Colombia journey. To get back to the bus terminal on the next morning, Estrella just called a taxi for us. It arrived 5 minutes after. Everything super easy and enjoyable.

Super friendly, helpful and funny staff. The hostel is designed like a spacious hotel complex. It is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city in the countryside but is easily and cheaply accessible with regular jeeps. In the morning you can hear lots of birds, cozy and well furnished.

Everything at Tukawa was spot on. The staff were not only very nice, but also very professional. The views are breathtaking and the activities they offer are much better than what you would get in the area, as they are more authentic and less touristy. The place is very clean and the food quite tasty. When I was there they had three options for breakfast, so definitely more varied than in other places in the area.

Our stay at Casa Mochila was amazing. Pat was very kind and helped us with everything we needed. We also got cake for my birthday. We would reccomend everyone to stay here. It is very easy to catch the bus to Salento in front of the hostel, just wave to the driver and they will stop for you. The breakfast in the morning is very tasty! If you want to chill here; there are very nice hammocks available. 10/10 points for this place and the service!

One of the best hostel I’ve stayed at in Colombia. Very clean and it’s close to everything, 4 mins walk from the bus station. There’s a well equipped kitchen if you want to cook anything. Jesus “the owner” is such an amazing person, he tried to help with everything, and also gives good recommendations of things to do and things to avoid. I highly recommend it

Above and beyond my expectations. Animals like horses a baby pigs hanging out next to the playground that was so awesome for our 3 years old boy. The two pools and jacuzzi very modern and clean. The staff so awesome and helpful even the guard at night was great

the hotel is really clean and modern, with a huge bathroom, good shower, comfy bed. it’s in the center of filandia but well isolated from the noise - we actually moved there from another hostel where we couldn’t stand the noise. David is the most attentive and helpful person on the planet
