Everyone was so helpful! I booked this place to sleep for a few hours before my early morning flight. They picked me up from the airport bus stop and then dropped me off a few hours after. I booked a quad room and they were nice enough to give me my own quad room so I wouldn’t bother anyone waking up in the middle of the night. Would definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again if I’m ever back in Costa Rica! Thank you!!

I arrived in early July very late one night as a solo woman traveler, and when I reached the hostel I was immediately relieved. The garden atmosphere (and geckos!) and kind staff helped me make a smooth transition into Costa Rica. This was my first time staying at a hostel and it was wonderful. My room had 3 other beds but no one else was there. There was ample space for storing luggage, a fan to keep the room cool, and a bathroom that had shower soap, shampoo, & conditioner included! Additionally, the breakfast was wonderful (and included!), there was plenty of filtered water to drink, and the garden attached to the dining area has beautiful seating and lush greenery alongside a fountain with fish and baby sharks! I am so glad this was my first impression of Costa Rica! Pura vida!

I liked the most how the lady (forgot her name) helped me book taxi early in the morning. She was even awake at 4 am to make sure that taxi is there. Its really close to the airport, but you need to book transportation bc of traffic you cant really walk till airport

I highly recommend this hostel! I stayed here three different times for a night, and every time it felt so welcoming – just like home. Everything is very clean, the beds are comfortable, the showers are hot, and there’s even a TV with Disney+/Netflix/Prime… just perfect! The place is designed with so many thoughtful details: a fully equipped kitchen, hair dryers, shower products, extra blankets if needed… you really feel that everything has been thought of for the guests’ comfort. The staff has been incredibly kind and helpful – they even let me leave some of my belongings a couple of times, always with such friendliness and quick responses. The automated check-in system makes everything super easy as well. For me, it’s the perfect place to stay for a night or two before exploring the rest of Costa Rica. A huge thank you to the whole team 🌸

Lovely couple running and beautiful, clean and relaxing place to stay. The breakfast is tasty, really unique too. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I would always stay here when I come to San Jose. The shower makes all the pain go away from hiking for 2 weeks.

My experience was really nice on this place. I just stayed there to sleep because I needed to take a bus 5:00 to Nicaragua, and they was super nice with me since from the begging. The people that work there are super receptively 🫶🏽 i liked it so much! And if i'll back to there, for sure i'm gonna stay with them again :)

For the price i paid i have to give 10 points. It has everything you need and gets cleaned every day. Family that runs the business is also living there so it felt more like a homestay than a hostel. Not many travellers while i was there, which i liked. Wifi worked perfectly. Neighborhood is full of fancy restaurants and for those on a budget there is a walmart in 20 min walking distance.

Lovely home from home hostel. Staff great, helpful and cheerful. Location good, in safe quite area, shops nearby. Kitchen you share with the home. Hot showers which is fab. Beds comfy, linen changed frequently as are towels. Lovely little garden area. Hosts will meet and drop off at airport for $10 each way.

The room was super clean and the water was hot in the bathroom. As a solo female traveller, I didn't feel unsafe at all. The staff went out of their way to help and to make me feel comfortable getting to the hostel and to my next destination. The restaurant is a good value and the food is good too...but you can't beat that view. I would stay there again.

The best hostel I have stayed in Costa Rica so far! Owners were so friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious and I felt so safe there. I’ll definitely be back and I would 100% recommend that to everyone who needs a place to stay close to the airport.

Great location, great value for the price. The hostel is nice and the bed (I slept in a dormiroty) was good. I had a good night of sleep (only waken up because of late arrivals). There are plugs right next to each bed, which is super practical. The free shuttle to the airport is very helpful!

Great location for airport travel with some great local restaurants close by. Safe and quiet area. Great hostel owner, Katty helps with everything including very fair taxi rides to the airport. would highly recommend for anyone coming to or from San Jose airport for a night. Just one more is make sure you have either dollars or cash but there is also an atm close by.
