I like the general atmosphere of the place, and I feel like the common spaces are nicely done to create interaction. There is also a working area you can use if you are teleworking for instance. The air conditioning is put on at night which makes it super nice to sleep. Each bed has its own privacy with curtains, a plug to charge your phone and a light. There is a shared bathroom per dorm. I paid extra for breakfast that was prepared by one of the staff. She was adorable, asked me what I would prefer and made me a different thing each morning. If you are staying more than one night, you can use the laundry service as well for some extra dollars. When I arrived, the person that did my check in also told me about all the different activities to do in and around La Fortuna, including three nice free spots like El Salto (rope swing into the river) or the hot springs. The hostel is located 5-10min walk to the city park, has plenty of small shops, markets and restaurants around and has a few parking spots if you are with a car.

Pura Vibra Hostel is honestly such an amazing place, and I highly recommend it to all travelers. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by Ana, who is so kind and accommodating. The space is beautifully decorated & the ambiance is so peaceful. It is just what I needed! The location is amazing; it's in a quiet area, but it is still so central (it took me 3 minutes to walk to the main street). The kitchen is very well equipped (it's actually the best kitchen that I have seen in a hostel). I loved the 6 bed dorm that I stayed in. The beds are SO comfortable, and I love that they have individual curtains, so you still feel like you have privacy. There are charging ports and an individual fan for each bed, which is very convenient. The shower pressure is great, and there is also hot water (we all know this is rare in hostels, haha). As you can tell, I loved my time at Pura Vibra Hostel. The low price is just a bonus!

The staff here are the best. They are friendly and very knowledgeable. The owner will go the extra mile to make your stay as good as possible. Comfortable bed, hot shower, and great location that is right in town but off the main streets and quiet. The kitchen is clean and well equipped with everything. Highly recommend staying here. Great value.

Great value hostel, walking distance to town. Well equipped kitchen and nice areas to hang out. Nice to have a small gym and we saw sloths in the garden!

Lena and Tony were excellent hosts and extremely helpful with picking excursions. The place was in a great location and after receiving a fan in the room the temperature was good too.

Honestly, this has been one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. It was very clean and comfortable. I totally love the pool bar idea, where Frannie the barista does her magic of creating such a lovely and unforgettably cozy atmosphere. 10/10 definitely coming back next time and calling my friends with me!
