The staff - Johann really made a great impression during my stay. He is quick, kind and resourceful. He truly enjoys his work, and it really shows with the interaction he made with his guests. Another lady staff i observed was not as eager to help, she'll assist but will not do more unless prompted. The affiliated restaurants of this place are a must try. Although the room is quite small but functional and the shared space has a great ambiance. Highly recommended solely based on Johann, the shared space and the restaurants.

This was an excellent hostel for the price, so much beyond my expectations considering what we paid for it! Our room was really cozy, although our bathroom lacked hot water (not that uncommon in CR though so we weren’t too worried about it), plus the shared bathroom had a really nice, hot shower so I just used that one. The breakfasts were hot and delicious! One member of staff was less friendly, but he made us the most delicious pancakes for breakfast - so we forgave him instantly! The kitchenette was fully stocked, and the fridge was kept clean and had lots of space - made it very easy to cook our own meals. For the price, in my opinion this can’t be beaten, there are a couple of quirks but there always are with budget hostels. Also, the outside space had the most spectacular view! I highly recommend this place! :)

We were sleeping at the studio room , private little cabin. We are 3 people, a couple and I, they were sleeping at the bedroom (huge bed) and I was supposed to sleep on the couch (didn’t mind to do that), but once we got there they immediately offered to give me a big mattress so I will feel more comfortable. The little house we got is in a very good condition! Big kitchen with all you need+ big fridge, a little balcony, tv, and beautiful bathroom with hot water. We came at the lower season so the price was very low as it well, we couldn’t believe how great this place is. The people who work here were very nice to us and really help with everything we needed. I highly recommend for couples/ 3 friends to check out this place. We had a car so drive around was easy for us- I think it’s about 10-15 minutes walk to the center of town.

Amazing place! Staff extremely kind and available, they helped us with literally every needs. The hostel is at walking distance from everything and the area is super safe. The best option for the cheapest price in the area! It was a very pleasant surprise.

This is literally Paco's house and I felt so welcomed there. Bed was comfortable, place was clean and breakfast was very good. Paco, Mario and Sadie (and aldo Paco's friends!) were so nice and friendly. Highly recommended!
