I loved the location of the hostel, in Bario escalante, which is safe and vibrant. Communication with the host was great and I very much appreciate all the info about busses and transport to make the most out of my limited time in Costa Rica. There are enough showers, sinks and toilets on the corridor, I never had to wait to use one. The space is clean, with high ceiling and airy. I loved the fact that they have paper towels and the whole digital codes with clear instructions on what to use where.

Everything about this hostel was great. Super comfy and welcoming. You can't not relax here. It was in walking distance to a lot of restaurants and parks and the staff were phenomenal! Wilson speaks great English and helped us get around and set up my sim card.

I came to San Jose for my prenatal appointment at CIMA Hospital and stayed at Ester's. It was walking distance from the hospital- even for a 7 months pregnant woman. Communication with the property was very fast. Ester was a saint and helped me book an English speaking taxi driver for my early morning departure. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. If you are traveling for medical tourism or want to stay in Escazu, you can't beat this location.
