OMG. Without a doubt, the BEST hostel I ever stayed at. The common room/kitchen area is INSANE. Best accommodation I stayed at during my month in NZ. No review I could write would do it justice

The hostel has recently been renovated and you can really see the care and effort that went into it! The rooms are cozy, the beds are comfortable and there is a lot of storage room right under the beds. There are two fully equipped kitchens, that will take you right to a home-like dining area with a pool table. Not to forget that there are a lot of bathrooms around the building, all freshly cleaned and spacious. Oh, and if you're looking for a place close to the main attractions, you're good with Haka Hostel, which is right across the Botanical Garden and close to the shopping and dining area of Christchurch. We really loved our stay here and it made our Christmas extra special.

Renovated in 2015, Urbanz offers accommodations in downtown Christchurch. The building features a range of rooms with either shared or private bathrooms.

The staff and service was superb. It is a family run place and the man who checked us in treated us like family. Welcome us to church in early, made coffee and breakfast for us, personally showed us around and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!
