Really nice hostel, big old house with very nice facilities. There is a lot of backpackers that work in the area that stay at the hostel and there is a few nice cats hanging around the hostel making it feel more like a home.

I have to say that the YHA Nelson is one of the best hostels I've ever seen. And it is reasonable priced too. Staff is amazing. I had a single room and it was great.

The place is so comfortable. When you have a lazy day you have a lot of options, where to chill and relax. The rooms are also not packed with a lot of people, usually just four, so it feels more friendly.
