Super helpful and kind staff, helped us with tours - gave good advice. We also got to check out at night for half the price. Accommodating for our vegan diet. An amazing view from the top floor. Close walking distance to Mirador de Rataquenua.

Located just a couple of blocks away from the Plaza de Armas and right next to the main street packed with businesses and restaurants, I couldn't have asked for more. Beds are comfy, sufficiently equipped as to make your stay grrrreat, so if you are down to a hostel like location go for it. Arti, the owner, is amazing, he has great recommendations on what to do around the city, and also outside of it, make sure to ask him before hand. We had great discussions and they just opened a boulder area upstairs, next to the kitchen that together with their restaurant are amazing: for a good price they have amazing food.

The staff, Paul and Mary, were so welcoming and friendly. Paul, a mountaineer, was super helpful with recommendations for hikes and day walks. The bed was comfortable and the internet worked well. Breakfast was great, and the coffee was top-notch and freshly made. Plenty of space to dry out a wet tent or air out sweaty boots. Perfect spot for before or after heading into the hills!

We loved staying at Yetupaja hostel! The room was comfortable and clean and well located, but the best thing about staying here was getting to know our hosts. Will and his partner were so welcoming and gave us excellent tips during our stay and organised all of our tours. Highly recommend

I can just recommend this place soooo much! If you go to Huaraz this is the place you wanna stay at. Erik was a wonderful host, preparing delicious selfmade vegan breakfast and also lunch and dinner when ordered beforehand, guiding us to Willkacocha lagune, providing reliable local information, lending a bike and many other things. Furthermore, we had inspiring conversations with him. He is a great host and knowledgeable guide, tirelessly picking up garbage for a cleaner Huaraz. The rest of the family is also really sweet. Thank you for everything! 100% recommended!!! ☆

The breakfast was a real treat. Carla was an excellent host. The location although far from town was exactly what I needed for some peace and quiet, to ground and acclimate to the altitude. The garden area was perfect for laying in a hammock, reading my book and doing my morning exercises.
