Nana and her husband are the kindest, most helpful hosts I’ve ever had! They wake up at 4am to save your spot in line for the whale sharks so you get to go first. When we had problems with our ferry tickets and transport she worked them out for us. Thank you for the lovely, clean, comfortable stay!

We had the best stay here! This small quiet hostel is in the perfect location if you have come to Oslob to see the whale sharks. It's right opposite the entrance to the walk in tickets but also if you want to explore it's an easy 15 mins motorcycle or TukTuk ride into Oslob town. We found Oslob so charming and authentic, all the people are so welcoming and friendly. Ken who is the main host at Way Shack is brilliant. He made our 2 nights stay in Oslob so relaxing and helped us with everything. He has good English so easy to communicate with and is very professional and personable. The room is basic but clean and comfortable with a large space for luggage.
