This is place is what people expect hostels to be like - the family running it is warm, caring, extremely helpful and inviting and there's a nice, cozy vibe. There's also friendly animals (cat and a dog) and the people staying here were chill and respectful. The female dorm had very comfortable beds and the lockers were big, right outside of the room. The food was excellent. I have also used their help with booking transportation to the accommodation and to Cat Ba after my stay, everything was smooth. My stay here came after a couple of weeks of travelling and I could feel how relaxed, safe and comfortable this place made me feel. It's a great spot to come and enjoy the beautiful nature and unwind. Big thank you to the beautiful family running it, I hope to come again in the future!

Stay at forest sunset hostel if you are in the area. It's fantastic. One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. The location is just beautiful, the staff super friendly and helpful, food is good, and everything is clean. I. Definitely want to come back here.

A good vibe around, welcoming and comfortable, staff are friendly. I arrived at 3am and they let me sleep in a quiet area with a mattress, pillow and blanket for no extra cost until my check in time. Bar by the pool for any meals and drinks, really amazing views and close to everything!

Very nice hostel with comfortable beds, a personal light and a shelf (!) to put your stuff down. They‘ve even got an elevator there. Staff was very very friendly and some would love to join you on s pool game if you ask them. Also the only cold pool I‘ve had so far in Vietnam! Breakfast was a little bland, but good for the price. Renting motorbikes and bicycles is very cheap and the location was just perfect!
