Built in 1958, the property is within 16 km of Golfclub Patriziale Ascona. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and free WiFi. It's a very peacefull and beautiful place. I really enjoyed my stay. The room was confortable, the kitchen had everything I needed to make breakfast and cook dinner. Everything was super clean. There's a lot of information available about all the things that can be done closeby.

I cannot overstate the professionalism, care, and consideration of all the staff working there. Effortlessly adapting to language and cultural needs, they went far beyond expectations to ensure the stay was highly enjoyable for my daughters and me. The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. It offers a park with a pool, free WiFi and a limited number of free parking spaces. The room location and facilities were exceptional. I have to add that I booked a single room and therefore was moved to the neighboring Continental Park Hotel. So just something to take into account.
