The facilities and common areas were clean and well-maintained. The hostel has great amenities and an excellent location near Provenza. Did I mention that all the staff were really friendly? It’s a must-visit in Medellín!

But it is also only a 10 minute work away from the centre of Guatape. Therefore, I was able to make the best of both the tranquil nature and the city. The hostel staff, and the family associated with the hostel, are all very helpful, kind and warm. The family work hard because they want to create positive experiences for guests, and I believe they succeed in this regard. The hostel has a lovely outdoor yoga area. I used it to do yoga, qigong and meditation. I really appreciated being able to do these exercises while enjoying fresh air and nature at the same time. The hostel has delicious breakfasts. There is also variety with slightly different breakfasts each day. The hostel also provides coffee and tea all day. I appreciated this touch. If I return to Guatape then this hostel will be my first choice.

Special thank you to Oscar for his kindness and his help for everything. I was supposed to stay 1 night and I stayed 4, I would have stay 2 weeks if I didn’t have a flight to catch.
