Nice kitchen and many cock there own food here. Me to. Nice dinning-tabel and nice sitting area where you can hang out and talk to everybody else. They have a sauna!!!! You have to pay extra, but it's there!! 1 minute to the supermarket and a few minutes and you have a number of supermarkets. I took the bus when I left. 2 minuts walk and then directly to the airport. Ask reception how to get a ticket. City-center is about 15-20 minutes walk from the hostel so it's easy.

The location is fantastic, I had a conference at the University of Helsinki for three days, but I also stayed two more days and went out into the city, and the main station is very easily accessible from there on foot, or if your luggage is heavy, with the trams. The kitchen seems very functional and well equipped, although I didn't have that much time to cook, but it's also a nice common area! The room was decent (5 people mixed dorm), very clean, and didn't feel overcrowded to me. My mattress could have been newer, it had lost a bit of its support. Not the most lively hostel I've stayed at, but since I was there for work, I didn't mind it being quiet in the rooms and hallways. However, they had a nice list of activities for the week, which took place in bars and venues in the area, plus a Whatsapp group so you can connect with other guests. I would have loved to try those out if I'd stayed longer, or if I get the chance to visit again.

The location was good and it was easy to find the place. The staff was friendly and helpful, they answered all my questions within minutes. The room and space in general was clean and quiet, bathrooms are spacious and clean, great option for this price :)

I spent nearly 20 days of summer school here, and I was quite satisfied with the accommodation environment and conditions.There were no worrying situations mentioned in many negative reviews.
