This hostel is one of the best hostels we have ever stayed at.

Dining Experience: The family-friendly restaurant serves traditional meals with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options. Breakfast includes continental, à la carte, and vegetarian selections with warm dishes, juice, and fruits. This place felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Although the room was very small and had little space for luggage, it was manageable and very comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were both very good and the staff were super helpful. A special mention to Zoe who was always so smiley, friendly and helpful. We loved the little pony, goat and alpaca friends outside too. It was a lovely location and a perfect stop for the Great Glen Way. The Old Barge was a good drink stop on the canal just before arriving as the hotel too

Bazpackers is well situated in Inverness, and features a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. This 4-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and luggage storage space. The property is non-smoking and is set 200 metres from Inverness Castle. I have 45 countries under my belt. And too many Hostels to count. Bazpackers is in the top 5 all time!! Location was central to town, stores, water and train station. The view from their back patio is gorgeous and the room was superb! You MUST stay here. Period.

Hartfield House Hostel offers pet-friendly accommodation in Applecross. Free private parking is available on site. There are extensive grounds and covered space for bikes, ideal for cyclists and walkers. This is an outstanding facility. First, everything was very clean and well organized. Room was comfortable and bright. The kitchen also was very clean and provided all that's necessary to cook your own meals if needed. We took advantage of their washer and dryer which was very useful for us. The building is beautiful with a lovely little courtyard welcoming you.

Situated at the foot of Ben Nevis, the long-established Glen Nevis Youth Hostel is just 3 miles from the large town of Fort William. It offers easy access to high and low-level walks, mountain biking, kayaking and other adventure sports. Great share hostel with perfect locality. Wonderfull comunication with reception desk, no problem late midnight check in. Everything you need to stay, with fully equiptment kitchen, toilet, shower, snack bar, free parking etc. Nothing, everything was perfect.

Just a few minutes’ walk from Fort Augustus on the edge of Loch Ness, this award-winning lodge offers four-star hostel accommodation with free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Fort William is 30 miles away. A hostel of the highest pedigree. Nice bar, good location and friendly staff.

The youth hostel provides a good range of facilities including dorms and private rooms, a well-equipped self-catering kitchen, a spacious dining area, a large drying room and ample parking for cars and buses. There is also a large open-plan lounge which provides stunning views of the Cairngorm Mountains and surrounding woodland. Great hostel with any service backbackers might need. Any other turist will also be satisfied. Nice rooms, helpfull staff.

Culloden Battlefield and its visitor centre can be reached after a 10-minute drive. The banks of Loch Ness and the country village of Dores are both a 20-minute drive away. Urquart Castle is within 30 minutes’ drive of Inverness Youth Hostel. The room was clean and spacious and had a great view towards a forrest and patio. We visited in december so it was great that it was well heated and had warm water. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
