It exceeeded our expectations basically becuase of the welcome and the feel of the place; it made me feel really welcome; it was the only place we stayed two nights during our 10 day sfari all around iceland and I have absolutely no regrets. The value for money is astounding and with the quality of the service it was like home.

Booked at 10pm and immediately got the instructions to check in. very spacious common living and kitchen area and toilets are big and clean.

The personal was very kind and polite, because after rainy day, we were wet from foot to head, therefore we tried to ask if there is some possible to dry our clothses and yes, there is possible to use a dryer. Set in a 1920s former school building, Héradsskolinn offers both private rooms and dorms. All rooms feature bright décor, lake- or mountain views and access to a pool table and TV lounge. Guests can choose between rooms with private or shared bathrooms. Everything was great. The staff was very welcoming and the common areas are cool. We all slept very well here.
