The rooms are very clean, have great amenities, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. While the neighborhood is a little different th an a couple blocks away where the. real touristy part of Genova starts, we preferred this more authentic and real slice of this very cool city. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in Genova.

This hostel is excellent value for money and had a really great vibe. Check in and check out process was quick and easy and we really enjoyed the bar with a couple of drinks and then coffees the next morning. We were leaving early so had decided not to get breakfast but when I saw it, I really wished we had! Our room was absolutely huge with a great bathroom and very elevated and had brilliant views out across the port. The location was good for us, being a very short walk to the train station, and there were a number of decent restaurants and convenience stores located close by. We were also an easy walk up to the funicular station where we went for an evening ride up to the top just for something to do and to check out the evening views.

The staff were super nice and respectful. The curtains on the beds offer privacy. There are a lot of power outlets. Mosquito repellents are offered which you can plug in. The other guests were totally quiet and no one disturbed anyone. Breakfast is nice and included in the price. The location is absolutely great, it's in the old town. Coffee and tea can be made free whenever and there's a free food basket where people can leave any food they won't eat anymore and others can eat it. The hostel has a friendly vibe and I was very satisfied with it. Even the view from the room is nice.
