The hotel, room, common areas, breakfast, and all else exceeded our expectations. The location at first (one of our concerns) appears to be away from where you want to be, but in fact is pretty good. The neighbourhood is clean and calm, worth exploring on its own. And it's very close to center even by foot. And by tram, the distance to all tourist-interest areas is negligible (5-10 mins). At the hotel, Giovanni at reception, specifically, was amazing — we interacted a few times and he was always helpful and very friendly. Next time we are in Florence, we are definitely staying again at Re-Dama. : ) Thank you!

Even in low season - when days are shorter and night are colder - you still get the fun vibe during your travels! The location is somewhat further from the city center but the walk there is very simple and there’s a tram stop in front of the hostel that will take you to the center in no time!
