It was just next to the Citadel of Amman with a perfect view from the room window. Everybody was incredibily kind and generous, helpful etc. It was a satisfying experience.

Our experience in rainbow house was exceptionnel, the check in was flexible as we cam very late, and the rooms were great for the price. But especially our host Ahmad took great care of us, showed us everything in the area and made sure we had a great stay. He made this trip memorable for us and showed us true arab hospitality.

I had a very spacious family room because the hotel was full and all doubles were already occupied. Bed was comfortable, all working in the bathroom, location is very good, right at the western side of Rainbow Street, there is a very welcoming reception/lounge area.

Many hosts will mislead you, especially on the price of goods, but not them. Having stayed in four other hostels in Amman, they were certainly the best hosts. Hostel is located right in the heart of the downtown. Costs of living are low and there is a wonderful nightlife every day of the week. Would highly recommend getting a room with A/C for a stay anytime between April and October as the heat just sits in the downtown at night. Beds were comfortable and clean. Two shared showers/two shared toilets and sinks in every room (I believe).
