The place was so well maintained, beds were huge for hostel standards and even though there was a tropical storm hitting the island during my visit, the staff was super nice and tried to make us feel comfortable in any moment. If you plan to work as well, they have an amazing coworking space with good internet and coffee. I will repeat for sure!

I stayed at Villa Eshta for the last two nights as I knew I really liked the area. I enjoyed the vibe more than the higher rated hostel I spent most of my time in. They have a bar open at night with fair prices, the location is fantastic, and I will book here for my trip next time I am in San Juan.

Casa Santurce is a 10 minute walk to Condado Beach and 11 minutes’ drive from Luiz Munoz Marin International Airport. The T5 bus route is 2 minutes’ walk from the hostel and can take you to Old San Juan where you can visit Fort San Felipe del Morro and explore the history of the area. The bus can also take you directly to the airport. The staff is stellar and easy going.

Comfortable bed, clean kitchen, clean bathrooms, easy to check in and check out.
