The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach. The property is exceptionally clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast is fantastic – everything I needed to start the day off right. If I ever find myself back on Koh Tao, I will definitely be staying here again!

That’s how this hostel has an amazing warm welcoming family vibe, thanks to the owner, Tharita. She is shining so good energy around, and I met only good people here 🙂!! Bed was quiet spacious and comfortable, with small shelf, power socket, curtain. Everything was clean and quiet by night. You won’t regret if you stay here, and Tharita will take care of you like she is taking care of her roses 🤗. All the best, DK mama, you are a true gem in this world!

I extended my stay here because I could not see myself going anywhere else (or even leaving the island, if I am being honest). Everything was perfect - from the location (not too close to the buzz, but not far either), the views (nothing beats having morning coffee overlooking the jungle or being minutes away from the beach to enjoy a fruit bowl), the cleanliness (unmatched how the space was kept clean), and even the perks (the daily transport to key spots was a top tier service). I have raved about this place to other backpackers interested in visiting Koh Tao and I don't think I will ever stop.

MBAR HOSTEL HAAD RIN has a fitness centre, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Haad Rin. Boasting a bar, the hostel is close to several noted attractions, around 300 metres from Haad Rin Nok Beach, 300 metres from Haad Rin Nai Beach and 600 metres from Leela Beach. The accommodation features nightclub and an ATM. Great hostel! The stuff makes it great 😊 Lovely receptionist who is very easygoing and always ready for a small talk, to give you some pieces of advice where to go and always checks on how it's going for you. Guys at the bar are super nice. They are always ready to mix a cocktail, play pool or table games with you, and do a bit of talk. It's not a party hostel, but still there is a bar with coffee/cocktails, music (not very loud), pool, table games, console. Also there is a place where you can work with your laptop. The female dorm is clean, quite big, with a private bathroom and most comfortable stairs to the bed on the 2nd floor! Mattresses are good as well.

At the hostel, rooms come with a patio with a garden view. All rooms are complete with a shared bathroom and air conditioning, and some rooms include a balcony. The rooms have a safety deposit box. It was good location close to the pier yet not directly on the street, place was clean bed was comfortable. The room is smaller than regular ones but enough storages, I personally liked they have bathrooms in common area not attached in each room. Staff are very friendly and hospitable, they also have some good cost performance tours and transportation services.
