The apartment is in a quite residental area on the outskirts of the town. Walking to the center takes 10-15 minutes. There is a supermarket (Eurospar) 4 minutes away. Parking is free in front of the building. The place has an open kitchen/diningroom/ living room. A cosy dining room table and a comfy couch. There is a master beedroom with a double bed and a small bedroom with a bunk bed. You will find all basics i.e. salt/pepper/coffee etc in the kitchen.
My parents acquired the apartment in Bad Ischl quite some years ago and we spent many lovely family holidays there. The area has a lot to offer, summer and winter. We are now grown up with our own families and we are spending less time there. We would like to share our lovely holiday home with other guests and would appreciate, if you treated it carefully. Enjoy your time in Bad Ischl.
A great hiking tour starts at the house, no need to drive anywhere. Start hiking towards Jubiläumsweg and the Hoisnrad Alm. Also Katrin Alm is a great hike (a bit steep), but you can also opt for the lift. Both, Hoisnrad Alm and Katrin Alm offer great food. Hallstatt is probably the most famous town in the area (Unesco Wold Heritage Site), take a bus or car to Hallstatt (20 min). Numerous lakes in the area offer walks around them. Look for Wolfgangsee, Altaussee, Grundlsee, Toplitzsee, Gosausee, etc.
