Set in an beautiful natural landscape directly on the shores of Lake Goldegg in the Pongau region, this hotel has been family-run for over 40 years. It features a restaurant and a modern sauna built in 2015. Guests can enjoy Austrian dishes in Hotel Gasthof zur Post’s restaurant, relax in the lounge or in the large garden and take a swim in the beautiful lake with its romantic bath house. Half-board includes a rich breakfast buffet with organic products from regional farms and a 6-course meal with different options in the evening. Rooms feature a balcony, cable TV, and safe. All bathrooms were renovated in 2015. An 18-hole golf course is only 0.6 mi away and offers a 30% green fee discount to hotel guests. 6 additional golf courses are within a 40-minute drive. Nearby Goldegg Castle features a museum. In winter, there are 31 mi of cross-country ski runs and winter hiking trails starting right at the hotel’s doorstep.
