Stone’s Throw Hunter Valley is a modern 4 bedroom home - just 3mins drive to the Hunter Valley vineyards. Located in the country town of Cessnock, adjacent to Pokolbin, the furnishings and decor of this holiday home pay respect to the local surroundings with its country vibe. Think warm timbers, iron and enough throws and cushions to snuggle into for the night. There is a fully fenced, secure backyard with firepit and a back patio that enjoys an open view over the local golf course (golf course temporarily closed). Inside the layout of the home is perfect for all stays, see floor plan in photos. There is a full kitchen, a large main bathroom with toilet, bath and shower, plus an en-suite off the master bedroom. This home has been thoughtfully designed and curated to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
We have lived, worked and enjoyed holidays in the Hunter off and on since we were kids. We love the Hunter Valley so much we wanted to share this beautiful place with others. Welcome to Stone’s Throw Hunter Valley! We appreciate comfort, convenience and a touch of style which we have brought into this home for you to enjoy. Given we are locals, we have prepared an info pack for our guests on the closest vineyards and what to do in the local area. And if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! We hope you enjoy your stay xx
The home is located in the more modern area of Cessnock, backing onto a golf course (temporarily closed) making for a lovely green view from the back patio and garden. The closest vineyards and cellar doors are just 3mins drive and the large concert and entertainment venues such as Hunter Valley Gardens, Roche Estate and Hope Estate are just 10mins drive. Crowne Plaza golf course is also only 10mins drive if you are keen for a game. There are beautiful world class restaurants in the Hunter Valley or if you’re after something more casual, a host of local cafes and take away stores are easily accessible in both Cessnock and Pokolbin. If you are visiting with little ones, there is also plenty to do with amazing local playgrounds, indoor play centers and kid friendly cellar doors.
