Neighbourhood information

Scamander is a popular beach side township on the East Coast of Tasmania at the gateway to The Bay of Fires. Set at the mouth of the Scamander River and on the Great Eastern Drive route, the town boasts wide sandy beaches and a relaxed holiday atmosphere. Scamander is one of Tasmania’s premier Bream fishing locations and occasionally dolphins and whales can be sighted offshore.
