Talbingo Moutain Retreat is a large property nestled in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains. It consists of up to 10 fully furnished apartments and caters for family holiday makers, groups for reunions, weddings, parties, and contractors associated with works such as the multi-billion dollar expansion of the Snowy Scheme known as ‘Snowy 2.0’. Talbingo Mountain Retreat offers a commercial kitchen, laundry and dining hall on request.

Neighbourhood information

Talbingo is a real getaway from the hustle and bustle. It is frequented by water skiing enthusiasts with easy access to the beautiful Talbingo Dam and Blowering Dam. The area is also popular for bushwalking, bird watching, fishing and canoeing. Talbingo is also one of the closest destinations to stay while visiting the Yarrangobilly Caves, thermal pools (only a 30km drive) and Mt Selwyn Ski Resort, known as being one of the most family-friendly and cost-effective ski resorts in the country. Talbingo itself offers parks and picnic destinations, a country club with golf course and tennis courts, restaurant and a primary school, general store/post office and service station.
