You’ll be charmed by this adorable place to stay. Woodland Bay Retreat is a 1930s renovated house making it the perfect place to be. The inviting country style kitchen and the wood fired pizza oven are ready and waiting to cook up a storm. There are a couple of options for relaxing at Woodland Bay Retreat, a living room off the kitchen/dining and a more formal sitting area and large dining room which can be closed off with french doors. This room has access directly onto the large wrap around verandah and takes in the glorious views over the bay. There are 3 large bedrooms in the house, one king bed plus 2 separate split king beds. The master suite is large with a walk-in-robe and en-suite which contains a tranquil and luxurious soaking bath with a view to die for. The other two bedrooms have built-ins and are they are serviced by a shared bathroom. Our beautiful, lush ornamental gardens are on over a hectare of pasture, with nothing to do but come and stay, relax and enjoy. A fully equipped gym is located onsite. Our house runs on a solar panel system. Our products and amenities are locally organic sourced and refilled whenever needed. A wellness area is now ready to be enjoyed by our guests. This area includes a Sauna ,a hot tub, an outdoor shower ,a cold plunge and a fire pit. Our guests get to use all these amenities free of charge. Can’t forget about our arcade room,situated under the house including 2 arcade machines and a TV for a game station game or two. Our property has few spots to watch Southern Lights on a clear night if you are looking towards the Bay facing South (Bruny Island way) or you can drive 2 min down the road to the jetty to have a better look. We are available 24/7 for any requests and happy to help with any issue our guests need.
We would love to welcome you to our modest slice of paradise away from home. In 2020, travelling wasn’t an option and we weren’t sure when we will be able to travel again, so we wanted to have a place away from home but close enough to our work and our girls school. Woodland Bay Retreat is the space we created and added our own special touch before we decided to share it with everyone else.
