The Green Escape story began in 2018, it was time for a change. No more only city life but also connecting with nature. What better place to do that, than in the Belgian Ardennes? Not far from my home town Brussels and with nature and calm in abundance. ​What followed was a four year period of intense renovations.... The garage is now the dining room, the cow stable a games room and a yoga studio. Guests like the Green Escape for its serenity, the 'zen' decoration, the cosiness of the house and the quiet environment.
We are located in the heart of the Ardennes with Durbuy being one of the top attractions of this part of Belgium. There are so many (nature-related) activities in the area that a bit of research before is recommended! At the holiday home, you will find my own personalised guidebook with an overview of the best activities, walks and restaurants.
