Property information

The Backstage Hotel Vernissage is incomparable in many ways. The 4* boutique hotel, which was planned and built by the artist and architect Heinz Julen himself and where he lives with his family, combines architecture, art, design and culinary delights in a unique way. All furnishings were made by hand in his atelier in Zermatt, giving the hotel the signature of Heinz Julen throughout. The “Genesis” spa experience is also outstanding and in no way comparable. In any case, it will be a hotel experience that you will hardly ever forget. The Vernissage, which belongs to the hotel, is the place where the life of Zermatt pulsates. Whether at an art exhibition, a cinema screening, culinary delights in the restaurants After Seven or Diner's Club or a party: The Vernissage is definitely the most extraordinary event location you have ever seen.

Neighbourhood information

The chalet is a 15-minute walk from Zermatt train station. We would be happy to organize a shuttle transport. The cable cars, restaurants and other tourist locations can be reached by foot in just a few minutes.
